Impact on STEAM Box: When STEAM Box moved its flagship school to Alvarez High School, Mozart did not let that stop him. He used his bus pass to come across town everyday to continue participation after-school. After learning to program mobile applications with STEAM Box, Mozart spent his senior year with his Media Team completely redesigning the STEAM Box website and mobile app. Mozart brought great partners to STEAM Box by designing applications with RIPTA and RIDOT in 2014. To accomplish these tasks for Android, Windows, and I-devices, Mozart (with STEAM Box programmer Tyrell Gales) created his own Hackintosh computer at STEAM Box. This machine ran both Apple and Windows operating Systems. His partnership with the RI Department of Transportation had him lead STEAM Box in development of a Drive Safe mobile application that redirects your calls and text messages when you are driving a moving vehicle. He also helped us program our first sick arcade cabinet. Graduation and Beyond: Mozart graduated in 2013 and was awarded a scholarship to Wentworth. STEAM Box offered him the Hackintosh that he built for his journey. He was immediately recruited by major Technology companies like the Media Mogul, PLEX, and by Google.
