STEAM BOX BOARD

Aminata participated in STEAM Box for three years.  Now she has joined the board to help with community partnerships and grants.

​Malika Ali is a passionate advocate for educational equity, currently serving as an innovation specialist for the Providence Public School District. As a former researcher and high school science teacher, she is inspired by programs like STEAM Box that empower young people to innovate and lead with curiosity and critical thought. After collaborating with STEAM Box as a science teacher, Malika joined the board to collaborate on program development and has found that the students at STEAM Box are true leaders; they are motivated, passionate, and driven to learn about and use technology in meaningful and innovative ways.
