Hip-Hop isn’t what it used to be.
As a matter of fact the music this generation listens to is far from what they call it, and it’s a shame that Hip-Hop’s label was stuck on it.
Artist from the 1970’s were not talking about how they wanted to kill this one or get with that one.
They were rapping about the struggles of life.
Some people say I’m whack because I listen to the throwbacks.
I reply “I guess I have an old soul” or “All the good music was made back in the day.”
And tell me not am I lying?
Now we got this thing and it’s called TRAP music but with an exception I call TRASH music.
It’s the same thing that we listen to now just with a sick beat and a gangbanger repping his block and selling his dope.
I don’t think Hip-Hop is ever going to be the same and it’s a shame because people forgot the true definition of music.
The struggle, the heart ache, and pain that’s what hip hop was all about.
Nowadays you rap about heart ache and pain you are considered weak or a punk.
We need to get back to the real music the real artists Ice T, Biggie,Ice Cube, Tupac, Afrika Baambata, just get back to our roots.
The music that made us who we are today.
Throw away all the never love chicks and never trust ’em.
Throw away that gangbanging crap.
Don’t get me wrong selling drugs is the only way some people can get food into their mouths, but that doesn’t make it right.
Hip Hop was created to express how you feel not explain how bad you want to get with a girl.
It wasn’t made to be messed with.
I think we all know that saying if it isn’t broke don’t fix it.
I JUST WISH HIP HOP WOULD GO BACK TO WHAT IT WAS!!!!!!!
